Today was a busy day and Analise hung in there even with the time change! :-) Everyday she impresses me and is so much fun to teach because she is so excited to learn!
Today we read Too Many Cooks! The story is about a teenage girl and her two little brothers that work together to surprise their parents and make them soup. In the story they had to follow directions and try to triple the recipe. Analise was able to predict what would happen next and we used math counters to figure out how may of each items they would need! After we read we made our own story and pretend soup. She really enjoyed this!
We are also doing hands on play to identify opposites and sizes. She understand both concepts! :-)
We worked on her gross motor skills today making an obstacle course. She was bale to balance, hop on one foot and toss and catch a ball!
We also did a sequencing project and she was able to this with 100% accuracy! We did one on how to make a sandwich and how a plant grows!
Today was a great day!
