As a respite from our exam preparation, Emma has been given the text The Crucible to read. To get her started, we began with a viewing of a History Channel documentary entitled "Witch Hunt," which provides many contextual details about the Puritans, the Salem Witch Trials, and many of the characters that Emma will be exposed to during her reading.
