Today Chase and I began our session by correcting a paragraph on the dry erase board that included grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. Then, Chase and I went outside to the playground and played a adjective/verb basketball game. I would recite either a verb or adjective to Chase and he had to tell me what type of word it was. If he got it correct he got two points and got to shoot the basketball. He did a great job with this! In addition, Chase completed an adjective/verb sorter writing the correct word under the correct column. During math, Chase and I completed three pages of math homework he brought from school. We used a measuring tape to measure the dimensions of objects in the classroom, such as a bookshelf shelf, the desk, and a window. Chase had to record the measurements in inches and feet. We completed all three pages of his homework.
