Lesson Topic
Permutations
Lesson Outline
We tackled the formulae for permutations and combinations, and looked at some practical examples involving both. We had briefly covered permutations before the SAT, and I have a feeling that Jared was quite confident of how he answered those problems, so today was more a question of formalizing the math behind these concepts.

Lesson Comments
I have a feeling that the SAT was a good experience for Jared – even if we had quickly reviewed Permutations last week before the test, Jared was very cooperative in class (normally, if he recognizes something we may have touched upon already, he tends to dismiss it ... and then is surprised later on when he realizes he doesn't fully know how to solve something! Whereas today he was much more cooperative).
