We read from the text the section on Pax Romana which lasted from the Emperor (Caesar) Augustus through the reign of Marcus Aurelius, a span of some 200 years. We explored how Roman culture--arts, history, literature, theater and Roman patriotism flourished during the period. We also explored the cross fertilization of Roman culture with that of the Greeks and the Etruscans.
