In an effort to push Sam into writing more and having confidence, she is working on a script for an adaptation of Newsies for a school play. We also continued working on enhancing her writing by scoring a well-written paragraph using a rubric. Using sentence frames, paragraph frames, and rubrics to score writing will be the beginning of our quest to help her become more comfortable and happy with writing.
She has undone homework with examples and sentence frames in her binder.
