Sam started class playing 5 minutes of Sumdog, focusing mainly on adverbs. Then completed a pretest on literary devices and figurative language to determine what terms are in need of studying. The first ten were introduced and examples practiced. We discussed graphic organizers and outlines for writing and will begin them and comma practice tomorrow.
