Test review
Lesson Outline
We concentrated on Jared improving his grade on the Probability test he sat before Spring Break. I asked Jared to concentrate on interpreting the problems from a verbal point of view, and not simply writing down an answer that he figured might be the correct one based on the numbers that are given. Jared did a very good job of attempting the problems again.

Lesson Comments
I attribute part of the reason Jared did not do so well the first time round to his assuming he knows the rules of probability and therefore exhibiting impatience when I tried to delve further into the theories (last quarter) More often than not he would not do the work required to familiarize himself with the material because of this assumption. His reaction to his test result, though, made him think a bit about this ... and he did do a pretty good job of cooperating in class today to try to improve his grade.
