We covered the fertile crescent and the agricultural revolution, the development of the Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, and the rise of the Ottoman empire. Then we reviewed the political, social, economic, and environmental changes in this area after World War I. Next we concentrated on the history of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. At the end of our session, Dylan summarized what we had covered today.
