Today Max spent the first thirty minutes of his session reading from his assigned reading book. He answered comprehension questions and summarized what he read. We talked about stopping and checking for understanding at the end of each page. After that, he practiced 2 and 3 digit subtraction problems on the wipe off board. In addition, he practiced his multiplication facts with flash cards. At the end of our session, we reviewed the relationship between simple division and multiplication.
