Today Max had a very busy tutoring session. We spent the first part of the session reading together and discussing what we read. Then he picked one of his favorite sections from the story and made a picture chart sequencing the section. He wrote about what happened first, next, and last. I had him complete this exercise in an effort to show him a way to help himself slow down and really focus on what he is reading. We also reviewed fractions while playing a fraction memory game.
