Zach and I finished reading the rest of Julius Caesar and discussed the development of plot and characters in the play. We analyzed whether Brutus should be considered a betrayer or a patriot, and Zach had to complete an assignment asking him to find evidence of both positions in the play and then explain each quote's significance to each argument. Next, Zach researched the actual Battle of Philippi in 42BC and completed an assignment comparing and contrasting the play's rendition of the battle to the historical account. Lastly, Zach wrote a response detailing why he thought Brutus was a betrayer or patriot.
