Lesson Outline
Zach and I covered chapter 8 in detail covering the early years of the United States Government, battles over state vs. federal power in the courts, over interstate commerce, etc. We also reviewed briefly the presidency of Andrew Jackson in relation to his legacy of the common man's president. Then Zach resubmitted his module 2 DBA reflection, and then completed assignment 3.01 which asked him to analyze a political cartoon critical of Andrew Jackson in terms of its historical context, audience, purpose, and point of view.
