Lesson Outline
We began our day with a favorite story, "Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late!", and continued reading with a phonics paragraph focused on the /ou/ sound. We made a list of known /ou/words and played a game of Quick Erase with that sound. Gracyn illustrated the second page in her Ocean Animals book. We concluded our session with the next chapter in "Beezus and Ramona", looking for words and phrases that suggest feelings. She also read, "Terrific Tree Houses" on Raz-Kids with 100% accuracy and comprehension.
