Lesson Outline
Loulie and I created a colorful tissue paper outline of her name as she ate her snack. We sang Alligators All Around as we pointed to each letter of the alphabet on her wall. We used magnet alphabet letters to play hide and seek with the letters and she used her pink pointing finger to point to the letters that name provided sounds. We used Skittles to create patterns aa bb cc, abc,ab The c,abc, and a,bb, ccc. She used the number chart to count to 30, still working on one to one correspondence. Our story today was 'Who Wants Henry?' Loulie provided words that occurred in a repeating pattern (which she identified and questioned) as we read. We talked about what the author wanted us to learn from the story and she readily piped up with the idea of being yourself!

Lesson Comments
Although I adore Miss Loulie and love working with her, I think 90 minutes is more time than we need for instruction.
