Loulie and I began our session with the story 'Seven Blind Mice'. We used the illustrations to help us infer and predict what the unidentified 'something' was in the story. Loulie figured things out very quickly! We played a math game that required recognizing, naming and demonstrating numbers to 18. We practiced one to one correspondence in touching alphabet letters while singing 'Alligators All Around'. While she ate a bit of her snack, we read 'If You Give a Dog a Donut', stopping to make predictions along the way.
