We read Goodnight Moon and did a number/story events matching game. The girls worked on counting the individual pictures and matching it to the coordinating number. We built a 3 foot puzzle on the floor. The girls enjoyed the gigantic pieces and manipulating them together to fit the pieces. This was a challenge for them that they enthusiastically accepted. The team work was beautiful and they were so pleased with the outcome. We used a ruler to measure the ocean animals in inches once complete.
