Lesson Outline
Analise read the Dolch words that she did not initially know automatically. She then read a level H fiction book titled, "Brainstorm Bear." Looking at the cover, Analise predicted what she thought the book would be about. She completed a "Reading Response" activity, asking her the title of the story, the names of the characters, the problem, and the solution. Analise shared her own original idea on how she would solve the problem in the story. We also talked about author and illustrator. I then read "Caps for Sale" to Analise. Tomorrow she will complete an activity on "Listening Comprehension."
