Dr. Suess' birthday is March 2nd. Gabriela and Laina will not be at school on that day, so I decided to celebrate early! I showed the girls a picture of Dr. Seuss and told them that he wrote the words for the books I had on display. I read "Green Eggs and Ham," and by the middle of the book the girls were joining in with me. Gabriela and Laina used poster board and painted a green egg on it. They then added a yellow yolk. I then wrote on each project, "I will not eat them ----------." The girls told me where they would never eat green eggs. I wrote their responses on their projects.
