Gabriela, Laina, and I began the session with singing the letters of the alphabet and practicing the months of the year, days of the week, today's day and today's weather.
We began interacting with material that involved sewing figurines which allowed them to practice on their fine motor skills. We identified basic words and the identification and sound of vowels in the words. We engaged in drawing, coloring, and identifying basic shapes on a paper as well as around the room. We practiced drawing in the drawing book presented to them.
