Today Gwendolyn finished up chapter 9 in her vocabulary book. Next week she will have her quiz on unit 9. When she was finished, she completed a short reading passage and the accompanying questions. When she was finished, we discussed the ones she had missed. We also reviewed adding suffixes to words, and the ultimate changes in both spelling and meaning. For the final few minutes of her session, she wrote a book review of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". During our second session, we went to the library to return books and read from her new chapter book.
