Review chords G, C, and D. Strum and switch chords slowly using a quarter note rhythm. Begin learning the G major scale.
Creating melodies from scale notes: Begin learning the melody to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in the key of G.
Hunter did very well and worked very hard on getting good tone from his chords and fretted notes. He picked up the melody to Twinkle Twinkle very quickly. I am going to suggest that Hunter get a guitar of his own for at home practice. Consistent practice outside of school is highly necessary for him to develop as a guitarist and overall musician.
