I made flash cards of all the vocabulary words from his study guide on epithelial and connective tissue. Gio worked through the cards once before starting on his take-home lab on epithelial tissue. He matched tissue with the function and description. He then drew pictures, and labeled images of each type of epithelial tissue. We had just enough time to discuss the types of cells that make up connective tissue before class time was over. Homework: review flash cards.
