Chapter 8 - Earth Systems: -
Chase and I reviewed the processes that created the Earth, the minerals and geology, as well as the effects of weathering and soil science. We examined a chart that describes the layers of the Earth as horizons that hold distinct color, texture, and materials. We discussed the atmosphere, and changes that have occurred over the 4.5 billion years since the Earth was born. Finally Chase was challenged with matching definitions to the long list of vocabulary words introduced in this chapter. Homework: Read module 4, in chapter 2: Systems and matter, and answer the six questions at the end of mod 4.
