This afternoon we reviewed the homework from the previous night and discussed the role of the Sumerians in the advancement of early Greek culture and philosophical thought.Bobby had concerns on two of the homework problems in particular which were easy to resolve once we re- read the appropriate chapter in the text. We discussed how Sargon's development of an empire served to blend cultures under common leadership providing a blending of culture, art, technology and government. Homework is to read pages 67-71 and complete #'s 1-3.
