Momentum -
Will and I discussed momentum. We did some thought questions about the energy flow during some iconic superman actions (holding up a crumbling building, or catching Lois Lane during mid-fall). Will followed the flow of energy, and wondered what happened to the momentum. We reviewed the formula for momentum, and then determined the momentum of the Titanic. We also examined the momentum distributed after a collision between and bug and a bus, traveling down the highway. Homework: find the momentum of several objects, based on their descriptions.
