Kelcy and I worked on a graphing activity this morning in math. Using a cube with funny monsters on each side, Kelcy rolled the cube and recorded each roll with a tally mark. He stopped rolling when the first monster had 2 groups of 5 tallies. Then, Kelcy counted all of the tallies and wrote the total for each monster. Taking the data from the collection sheet, he used different color crayons to make a graph showing how many times each monster was rolled. We also covered the number words 20-29 along with matching groups of objects to the correct number. Finally on Mathseeds, Kelcy determined how a shapes attributes can affect its ability to be stacked or rolled.
