Hunter analyzed the U.S. Supreme Court case of Roe vs. Wade. We watched "Hip Hughes on History" and a Washington Post video of the announcement of the decision to understand the issues and the Court opinion. We also read the summary of the case in "The American Republic Since 1877; Supreme Court Case Studies." We discussed new words - dissent and concur - and discussed the holding of the case and the reasons behind them.
