The session began with vocabulary building. Bobby was asked to read various sets of words and identify the synonym pairs in each set. Unfamiliar words were discussed to ensure comprehension. Time was spent editing the car essay that Bobby wrote. After he read a short selection about stormy weather he was asked to visualize and discuss it. Bobby also spent some time working on a 3-D puzzle.
