We read The Three Little Pigs and stopped in between to analyze characters i.e. Do you think the little piggy should trust this wolf? We also got creative and made letters in poses outdoors and Macy came up with the idea that she would create the lower case letters while I create the upper case letters. At the beginning and end of our time Macy asked to listen to the birds which is so amazing because she is doing transitioning herself and knows when she needs a breather!!!!! We learned this technique in yoga class! ( To just close our eyes and listen for a few moments...)
