Chase participated in field lab by working with a mark recapture study of wild dolphins in Palm Beach. She experienced the strict research protocol, which is data driven. She recorded data during an encounter with three dolphins, as they maneuvered through the Loxahatchee / Indian river waterway. She assisted in photographing, taking notes, videography, and GIS spatial data recording. We reviewed the mark recapture methods for determining the size of populations, as data was collected.
