We began with one of the lessons on Vocabulary from The Great Courses. Alexa took notes as we listened to the lecture, and we discussed the words and strategies. Then Alexa and I read parts in the play "Love from a Stranger" through Act 2. We continued watching the 1937 movie. Allusions, old sayings, vocabulary, and values keep coming up for thoughtful explanation and discussion. We did a bit of research on the main actor, Basil Rathbone.
