AP Environmental Science:
Aquaponics-
Chase and I worked on getting the aquarium ready for her beta fish. After observing some living things swimming in the rainwater I collected for this project, Chase decided to use tap water in the tank. We loaded the aquarium with tap water, and treated it to neutralize the pH, chlorine level, nitrogen level, and other chemical imbalances’. We connected the pump and checked it worked well, and also the tank lights. We then examined the living creatures from the rainwater, using the binocular microscope. I used the remaining time to quiz Chase with some sample APES test questions.
