AP Environmental Science:
Population Growth Rate-
Chase and I examined the process for determining the population growth rate of a species, and made predictions of how large the population would be after a given number of years. We discussed the factors that would influence the population growth, and how some of these factors can be dependent upon density. We reviewed the manner by which R-populations grow, and K-populations expand only to the carrying capacity of the community. We worked on some sample APES test questions on population biology.
