Oliver had 3 activities to work on today. First, he edited a paragraph about Hawaiian leis. He found all 10 mistakes, but had to adjust his corrections on 2 of them. I talked to him about the difference between "there" and "they're", reminding him that if "they are" fits in the sentence, then he should use "they're". He then read 2 passages from an online site, and answered questions to test his reading comprehension. Finally, he worked on writing his Mr. Knuffles book.
