Physical Science:
The Light Spectrum -
Will and I reviewed the different categories of light frequency, defining the wavelengths that achieve various levels of harm to the human body. We discussed the extremely long wavelength of radio waves, over a kilometer, and how they and infrared waves are so long that they are able to wrap around objects. The features make them suitable for transmitting communications. Waves with shorter wavelength become more dangerous, and can burn, and even dissolve tissues.
