This activity gave Oliver an opportunity to see all of the methods he has learned to analyze quadratic functions. Oliver took a quadratic function and determined the vertex by calculator, then by completing the square and last by the -b/2a method. He then determined the zeros of the function by calculator, factoring, completing the square, and lastly by quadratic formula.
