Bow and Arrow
Lesson Outline
Charlie's decides to manufacture a prototype bow and arrow using balsa wood, two wooden pegs, and a dowel rod. We cut the bow to the proper width and length. Charlie carefully sands the parts with 220 grit sandpaper. Next he drill holes for the pegs and I super glue them in place. Lastly, Charlie ties the string to the pegs and testing takes place. Pretty good results for his first try. Great session.
