Ryan did wonderfully today! We worked on clauses, sentences and fragments and the different types of sentences: simple, complex, compound and compound/complex. We will continue this lesson and work on punctuation and how to avoid comma splices and run-ons next session.

Ryan's a trooper. I kept asking him if he wanted a break and he kept saying, "No, I'm good!" Grammar can be draining for students, but he was committed and did really well. He feels so great when it "clicks!"
