-use of literary figures put in the essay to complete the story's last 2 paragraphs; based on grammar, subject matter, use of lesson plans classwork; and the 'creativity' level of a creative writing essay; and meeting both my criteria and Cal's outline suggestions--GRADE: 96%
-Cole focussing his skills in character analysis to create the dialogue in his creative essay--conversation between its literary characters--Mohammad (based on DVD by Biography), Dickinson (based on biographical research and poems we read), and Hemingway (based on discussion of short story and his life in Florida, **and Clint's input from his years of being a huge fan and Key West look-like competitions!**)--who all meet at a bar in Hemingway's hometown and tell each other what the worlds is like, what their writing is about, and how their worldviews relate or differ.
- FINAL GRADE for English 12: 91% A-
