Lesson Outline
Abby is a pleasure to work with. She is bright and learns quickly.
25 minutes - We began by reading a few paragraphs of a new short story “Odile”. Abby did well. She had a few grammar mistakes, but corrected them once I pointed them out.
10 minute break - today was picture day and Abby went to have her picture taken.
Remainder of the time: When she returned, we began working in her journal. She wrote in French on the following topics: the day, and date; the weather; her interest in France; her headache from the day before; picture day; and her comfortable sneakers.
