Will continued his research on dream jobs in film production in preparation for his project. He decided to add one more job to his list, the job of the producer. We generated a list of 5 questions for him to research online. We discussed the need to cite the sources of information when you are writing a paper or putting a presentation together. I reviewed MLA citation for online sources with him. MLA (Modern Language Association) style is used by the Humanities and is most likely what he will be using in his freshman year. He completed researching question one and wrote a citation for that information which he got from a website called “The Premium Beat”. I stressed the need for accuracy in the citation as well as punctuation of the citation. He did a good job with this task. For homework, he will be researching question two and writing the citation.
