Lesson Outline
We began by going outside and doing journal entries. Abby gave the date, weather conditions and activities of the students outside at the time we were there. Abby then related her activities over Christmas break. Today I asked questions in the past, imperfect and present tenses. She flawlessly responded with the correct tense to each question. She had only a few problems with idiomatic phrases which she did not recognize. I assisted and she continued on with her entries. We then returned to her room and Abby read Chapter 4 of Phantom of the Opera in French. She read and translated until the hour was over. She did very well.
