Today was our first day so we spent some time getting to know each other after which we looked at the two books that were purchased on WWII, a topic in whichJames is very interested. We proceeded to work on a homework activity about penguins. First we read an article in Scholastic News. He than completed a sequence activity on the development of the penguin. James did a great job! During the last 10 minutes we reviewed his spelling words for this week.
