Olivia and I continued our study of the novel. We discussed the study guide questions for chapter IV. Olivia had answered them for homework and did an excellent job. We then did a more in-depth study of chapter IV analyzing some important quotes and making a prediction based on the quotes for what will happen next in the novel. We focused on the literary term of foreshadowing. We then previewed chapter 5 and discussed the difficult vocabulary. We began reading the chapter.
