Lesson Outline
Demonstrate if the length or the mass of a pendulum will effect the time of vibrations.
Define the period of a wave.
Define simple harmonic motion and demonstrate how a sine curve is formed by the motion.
Sketch a sine curve wave on the board and label and define the relative parts.

Lesson Comments
Abby is an excellent student, very attentive and knowledgeable.
I was able in this time slot to develop the definition of the period of a wave as well as the factor which affects the period.
I used a pictorial representation of a typical sine wave, labeled the important parts and defined each. The parts labeled and defined were the mid point, crest, trough, wave length, amplitude. The the units for frequency were listed.
