Read and discussed about the institution of NIL in NCAA sports: What it is, and how it effects athletes and their choices to play for a particular school.
We completed a study on graphs of functions using technology. We looked at the practical concept of a function as observed in real world activities. We looked at properties of functions including concavity, maxima and minima, slopes (prepare for derivatives in calculus), and one-to-one functions. We briefly looked at non-functions, the circle, ellipse, and hyperbola. We also began a study of probability including theoretical, empirical, and subjective. Example problems were completed also.
