This morning, Jason continued to work on adding more than two 2-digit numbers. He applied his knowledge from our prior lessons on basic addition strategies such as making 10, doubles, and near doubles as well as place-value concepts to adding more than two 2-digit numbers. Jason completed the lesson's practice problems and answered the quick check quiz questions. Then, he played a game from the virtual textbook called Robot Launch. Number robots were launched into machines to see how they changed and to determine the operation each machine performed. Once the operation was known, Jason guessed the value of the mystery robots.
