Lesson Outline
Today, Jason and I revisited our conversation about Day of the Dead.

I asked him a plethora of questions about his Halloween experience. As he answered questions, we compared and contrasted his Halloween experience with the celebration of Day of the Dead.

We spoke about the scariest costume that he saw (Jason or Deadpool). We spoke about how he observed someone dressed as a skeleton. We discussed how that is in some ways like Day of the Dead. We spoke about what Halloween means to him (time with family, eating candy corn) and compared that with what we are celebrating on Day of the Dead. We spoke again about how it primarily the people of Mexico who celebrate. We found Mexico on a map.

In our discussion, we spoke about some of the things that he liked about Halloween and things he did not like. We used this opportunity to remind him that we say Me gusta to mean I like.
