Alexandra completed her interactive calendar, read her sight words, finished her calendar talk activity, put together her daily sentence puzzle, learned about the states of matter, and did an experiment using vinegar and baking soda to make a gas that would blow up a balloon. She had Storytime.

Lesson Outline
First, Alexandra created and cut flowers, afforded assistance when necessary to use scissors to develop her fine motor skills. We then went on a scavenger hunt for flowers in and outdoors. We collected objects from the garden area and drew them, using some of the objects themselves as our template and others as the actual model. Alexandra was afforded guidance and prompts to identify and select objects that would lend itself to the exercise. She enjoyed a fun and productive fun Friday.

This morning, Alexandra worked on counting objects and matching their totals to their corresponding numbers. Then she solved addition within 10 problems, counting 2 groups of objects to find how many in all. We finished with one of her favorite dinosaur floor puzzles before eating lunch.

Alexandra completed her interactive calendar, read her sight words, finished her calendar talk, practiced her handwriting techniques, put together her daily sentence puzzle, explored and discussed her Scholastic News Magazine, and had Storytime.
Today, Alexandra worked on a clay triceratops. We created each of the body parts, with the colors of Alexandra's choosing, before assembling. While working, we created fun stories about the triceratops and its family. Then, it was put aside to dry, and we spent time outside on the playground.
This morning, Alexandra worked on counting on ten frames up to 20. She recognized when a ten frame was full and counted up from ten to find the teen amount. Then, she found the number on her number line and wrote the amount. Next, we worked on a listening activity with the numbers 1 through 10. Alexandra listened to the numbers spoken and chose the number heard. Finally, she played Bingo with the numbers 1 through 20.
Alexandra completed her interactive calendar, read her sight words, finished her calendar talk, worked on her handwriting activity, put together her daily sentence puzzle, completed her phonic activity, read and discussed her Scholastic News magazine, and had Storytime.
Alexandra continued to work on and finish her teradactyl gem sticker. She used the numbered guide to match the numbers to their corresponding colors. Then, we read the book How Many Twos? by Judy Hindley and went outside to water her flowers.
